LESSON INFORMATION

We offer a range of driving lesson types to suit each individual driver and their driving goals. Lessons provide the key core competencies required by Roads and Maritime Services.

We pick up and return each student to a nominated address.

Your First Lesson

The ideal introduction for learners who are new to driving. This 90 minute lesson allows extra time for your instructor to demonstrate proper operation of the controls of the car and to determine your knowledge and skill level.  This allows us to develop an individual learning plan for future lessons.

We highly recommend a first lesson before commencing a set of lessons, to enable us to assess a new students driving knowledge.

Follow-on lessons

These lessons build on developing your driving skills in preparation for your driving test, and can be tailored to the students’ needs and preferences.  Lessons are available as 60, 90, 120 and 180 minutes duration.  Packages of 10 x 1 hour lessons and 10 x 1.5 hour lessons are also available.

These lessons are also ideal for individuals who already have driving experience but wish to refresh their driving skills and road rule knowledge.

Warm Up Drive Plus Licence Test

This lesson provides the student with a warm up drive prior to taking their driving test, using the driving instructor’s vehicle.  It provides the student and the instructor the opportunity to review key driving techniques learned together during prior lessons.  It gives the student time to relax and overcome any nerves before taking the test.

Learners under 25 are required to undertake a minimum of 120 hours of supervised driving. Driving lessons with a qualified instructor earn a student 3 hours of log book time for every hour’s lesson, up to a maximum of 30 hours.

All lessons are conducted in 5 star ANCAP rated vehicles with automatic transmission.
